FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
- How do I place an order?
If you are a trade customer, you can place an order at a standard trade discounted price. Full price lists are available on request. Simply add your desired products to the basket and ensure you meet our minimum order value (explained below). You can then check out and complete your order by credit card. After this you will be sent our trade application form and welcome pack. If you are a private customer, all you have to do is register and select your favourite design(s) before check out.
- Do you have minimum trade order quantities?
Our minimum trade order value is £1,000 for your first order, then £300 for each subsequent order. All products are stock supported, and so must be ordered in a minimum of two per design/colourway (excluding Alpaca). We have no minimum order quantity for private orders.
- What is the difference between a trade order and a private order?
A trade order is a bulk order from a business, whether that be from an independent retailer or a brands own buying team. These type of customers are set up as accounts in our Sales office and work to our minimum order values. A private order is one from the general public, with no minimum quantity and paying our recommended retail price. These must be placed online, as we have no facility in the Sales office to take private orders over the phone.
- Where can I find further information on a specific product?
All technical details of our throws, cushions and fashion accessories are listed in the 'Additional Information' tab; next to description when you're viewing a particular design. From this tab you can see weight, dimensions, colour options, and composition (quality).
- What is your standard lead time and what happens with out of stock items?
Our standard lead time is 5-10 working days from payment to delivery. This can vary in peak months such as September to January. With out of stock products, back orders cannot be placed online. Out of stock items will be made unavailable to add to your basket and are usually back online within 2-4 weeks (dependent on production).
- How do I care for my Bronte by Moon throw, cushion, and/or fashion accessory?
We recommend dry clean only for all of our accessories as using a professional cleaning service is the best way to guarantee your wool will remain in top quality condition. However, we have created an unofficial cleaning guide with advice and solutions for staining which can be found here. While these are aimed at our upholstery fabrics, they remain true for our woollen accessories too.
